The CIP Employment Team was nominated for the 2013 APSE Professional Award

The 2013 National APSE (Association of People Supporting EmploymentFirst) Conference was held on June 24th-27th in Indianapolis, IN and  CIP’s Employment Team was represented there by Jolene Thibedeau Boyd, Melissa Rosewall and Cassy Davis. Every year, APSE awards and recognizes businesses that employ people with disabilities, employees who have disabilities, and leaders in the field. This year, CIP was nominated for awards in two categories: The Professional Award and the Wendy Wood Emerging Leader Award!

The CIP Employment Team was nominated for the Professional Award by Employment Manager, Cassy Davis, for the commitment to customized employment for people with disabilities and for the extraordinary energy, enthusiasm, and support demonstrated by members of the team. The hard work and dedication of this team has contributed to an employment rate of over 70% for  the past year!
Cassy Davis was nominated for the Wendy Wood Emerging Leader Award by Jolene Thibedeau Boyd for, among many other things, her talented supervision of the above mentioned Employment Team. We are proud to announce that

Cassy Davis was the winner of the Wendy Wood Award this year! Wendy Wood, the founding Executive Director of APSE was present at this year’s ceremony for the first time in many years to present Cassy with the prestigious award. We are honored to have Cassy’s accomplishments acknowledged formally by APSE (and her team!) and we congratulate her on this well-deserved award!
