Last night Community Involvement Programs held their annual Employee Appreciation Event. The evening was filled with great people, tasty food, and entertainment by Comedy Sportz. The event was also an opportunity to recognize excellence within our diverse staff who work to support CIP’s mission. Of these many hard-working individuals throughout the organization, our department took home THREE out of the FIVE award categories!
Congratulations to Rae Block for taking home The Learner award:
Presented to an employee hired after January 1, 2012 whose work represents an outstanding ability to learn about the work of the organization or the interests, gifts, and capabilities of the people we support. Nominees for this award may include direct support staff and administrative staff.
The Leader Award went to Shauna Cropsey, who was just recently promoted to the position of Manager of Day Services:
Presented to an employee whose work represents outstanding leadership in the implementation of our values, vision, and mission. Nominees for this award may include program staff and administrative staff.
Last, but not least, we snagged the Commitment to Excellence Award (Employment Consultant Team). This last award was presented for the first time, and we were surprised and honored to accept it on behalf of all our Community Support Staff who have been instrumental in making our employment goals possible.
Since we’re taking this opportunity to pat ourselves on the back, we’d also like to announce that the Richfield Rotary Club has awarded us with a supplemental grant for the City of Richfield Social Service Funding. The funding will support a person who gets an internship or could potentially give us the option of securing an additional internship! We are so pleased to have the opportunity to acknowledge the accomplishments of our hard working team, and very much looking forward to making future employment connections and advocating for inclusion in all we do.
